There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:
I can see the fingerprints of GodWhen I look at youI can see the fingerprints of GodAnd I know its trueYou're a masterpieceThat all creation quietly applaudsAnd you're covered with the fingerprints of GodSo look around you and see where YOU can see God's fingerprints. Is it in nature? Kids? Animals? Where do you see them?

I snapped this photo of daffodils coming up yesterday, and took it as a comforting sign that Spring is on its way. I thought I would post it on my blog with a title like "I CAN'T WAIT TO WEAR SHORT SLEEVES AGAIN" but since finding Pampering Beki's blog.
I've wanted to join in the the Fingerprint Friday series. So I'll take on a more serious note for today. I'll have to save the short sleeve topic for another post!
These bulbs emerging from the ground remind me that lifes journey is a series of seasons. Just as God chose for the earth to experience these changes, our lives do too. I was further reminded of this, last week as a friend is going through a very difficult time. We are praying for her and hoping for a miracle, but we know that this too "shall pass".
Here's a very well known scripture about seasons in Ecclesiastes 3:
1 There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:
2 a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot,
3 a time to kill and a time to heala time to tear down and a time to build, 4 a time to weep and a time to laugh,a time to mourn and a time to dance,
5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,a time to embrace and a time to refrain,
6 a time to search and a time to give up,a time to keep and a time to throw away,
7 a time to tear and a time to mend,a time to be silent and a time to speak,
8 a time to love and a time to hate,a time for war and a time for peace.
